Two worlds are set to collide in a death course to oblivion and for survival starting October 14, when “The Walking Dead” Season 3 airs its first episode for the season. In a brief take, two opposing forces in the series is yet to clash either for survival (talking on Rick Grimes point of view) and the other, order & control (taking “the Governor’s” way of seeing things).
In the previous seasons of the series, Rick and cohorts’ only concerns are to live their lives in safety from unwavering hordes of undead flesh eaters and some little annoyance too caused by fellow survivors but nonetheless, none of which will equal to the threat Rick and the must face when their paths cross with the sinister “Governor”.
As executive producer of the series and likewise creator of the famed comics version of TWD Robert Kirkman describes the upcoming season. “This season really is about setting up these two worlds and watching them come to a head and collides. And you know that there are going to be some pretty explosive encounters between Rick and the Governor. This season is going to be about getting to know these two characters, and then waiting for their eventual confrontation that could destroy everything.”
So it is expected that this two opposing sides will either outlive each other in order to stay on top or will do their best to get rid of the competition in order to obtain a secure spot in the living world. Will they kill each other to the bitter end? Or may have found a way to compromise each other’s position in order to live mutually? However it will be, still it going to be one heck of a season for TWD and of course the expecting fans of the series.
And in celebration of the biggest season of “The Walking Dead”, Entertainment magazine highlighted this weeks’ issue cover with some of the major characters in the series. With Rick posed with his favorite pistol, the iconic Governor with his knife, the blade wielding Michonne and his jawless zombie pets and the opposing brothers Daryl and Merle.
